Projects and reviews

A project holds at most 5 reviews, for example 10% review, 30% review and so on. Each review has one internal and one external round. The web app calls a round a token: an internal token and an external token.

A project admin.

Steps

1. Open the project. Under Reviews, enter a New review name or leave it empty for the next standard name, and click Add review.

2. On the review, click the button that opens its internal or its external token.

3. If an earlier token of the same kind exists, the page lists what is still open or proposed on it, under the heading that names that review. Tick the markups to carry over. Nothing is ticked until you tick it.

4. Confirm to open the token.

What carry-over does

Each ticked markup is copied with its position, its linked items, its id and its full thread, including file links. The copy’s title ends with ” – remaining from ” and the name of the previous review. The original stays as it was, so the closed round remains an accurate record.

Markup ids such as HD-018 are the project prefix and a number. A carried-over copy keeps the original id.

If something goes wrong

• The previous token of that kind must be closed first. Only one internal and one external token can be open at a time in a project, so the previous review of the same kind must be closed first. See Close or hide a review.
• A project can have at most five reviews.
• This review already has a token of that kind.
