Kroons is a plugin for Autodesk® Navisworks® 2024-2027. It shows the review markups of your project inside the model and lets you raise new ones. The HD web app is where markups are resolved and accepted.

From install to your first markup
Section titled “From install to your first markup”- Check what you need: a supported Navisworks, Windows and an internet connection.
- Install the plugin. The plugin is free.
- Get two things from your project admin: a
.hdmarkfile and an account (an email and a password). - Open your model, click the Kroons tab, then Open markup, and log in. The first-markup walk-through takes five minutes.
What Kroons does and does not do
Section titled “What Kroons does and does not do”In Navisworks you can open a review, read its markups, go to the saved view of each markup, see pins in the 3D view, comment, and raise new markups with a screenshot and linked model items.
Proposing a solution, accepting or refusing it, reopening, editing and deleting a markup, uploading files and working offline happen in the HD web app, not in Navisworks. See What the plugin does not do.
