What you need

Kroons runs inside Autodesk® Navisworks®. This page lists what has to be in place before you install it.

Navisworks

Kroons is available for Autodesk® Navisworks® 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027, in the Manage and Simulate editions. The chip under the page title shows the Navisworks years this page was verified for.

The installer lists the Navisworks versions it finds on your computer. A version marked supported by this installer gets Kroons. A version marked NOT included in this installer does not: Kroons does not load in it.

Windows

A 64-bit Windows computer on which Navisworks runs. You do not need administrator rights: the installer can install for your Windows user only. Installing for every user of the computer needs an administrator.

Network

Kroons talks to the server named in your .hdmark file, over https only. A .hdmark file that points to a server without https is refused. Your network, proxy and firewall must allow https to that server. The links in the plugin (Help and About) open kroons.co and help.kroons.co in your browser.

An account and a .hdmark file

The project admin of your project gives you:

• a .hdmark file for the review you work on, and
• an account: an email and a password, sent to you by an invitation from the HD web app.

Licence

The plugin is free. A project needs a licence, and a licensed project has unlimited members. See How licensing works.
